2015 was an incredible year for Future Foundations with a wide range of achievements. On Sunday 24th January, we had our first FF Forum bringing together our wider network for a strategy afternoon and consultation. During this event, we looked back on 2015 and captured just some of the amazing things that together we have achieved. For those who missed this event, we have shared below our top ten for 2015. We are looking forward to celebrating these achievements and more at our Annual Celebration and Awards taking place on 18th February 2016 at Stratford Circus and sharing our plans for 2016!
- Recognised by the DfE with an Award for developing young people’s character
- Successful application to the DfE in partnership with Highgate School for our Looked After Children programme
- Our alumni involvement taken to new levels with alumni volunteering and working on our programmes and attending our first alumni socials
- Delivered 15 programmes across the UK (from South Devon to Scotland) for Secondary Schools reaching 1552 young people
- We launched NCS in a new area and delivered five waves in the Summer and one in the Autumn
- Workpacks launched and 100 released to our network enabling our network to get involved in project development and delivery
- Grown our network of incredible coaches who deliver our programmes
- Expanded our reach into more countries with 18 countries represented on GSL, joining COBIS and delivered training in Madrid
- We made progress on our #iwill pledge and deepened our partnerships with fellow members of Generation Change
- We moved office to a new home!
We would like to thank our students, staff, funders, alumni and partners who have enabled us to achieve so much in one year.
