On the 8th, 9th and 10th September NCS Summer 2014 held their Graduations for the participants to showcase and present their incredible social action projects to their families and the judges. The teams put in over 2000 hours of work into their projects and it showed in the fantastic reports and presentations shared over the 3 evenings.

Wave 1 Graduation
On Monday 8th September the teams from Wave 1 presented their social action projects. We had:
LOIT – The Ultimate Undeciders
Strive2provide – Triducks
Unharmed – Team
Transparent – Team Exoh
Each team brilliantly demonstrated the range of roles they took on from marketing, sales, communications, logistics, PR to finance, project manager and researchers to name just some!
The judges named Strive2Provide as the winning team, their presentation and campaign to raise awareness of organ donation hugely impressed the judges, especially as they smashed their target of getting 200 people to sign up.
Wave 2 Graduation
The teams from Wave 2 had their Graduation on Tuesday 9th September. The teams and projects were:
Team 4 of spades – Project Youth
Dream Team – Operation Dream Clean
Self Belief – Team Quackers
Active Wheels – Ninjacorns
The winning project was Self Belief, they fundraised £674.32 and raised awareness of neuro-fibromatosis and mental illness with their creatively inspired positivity tree.
Wave 4 Graduation
Our final Graduation on Wednesday 10th September contained the teams from Wave 4:
Project Harmony – Team Reem
Shh Sensory – Team KCF
Street Stories – Team Wah!
Project 360 – Team 360
The winning project was named as Shh Sensory who built a sensory garden for a Primary school of 436 children, where many of the children has sensory impairments or learning difficulties. They raised a whopping £1160 and their project directly impacted 486 people.
