Future Foundations and Ashoka Europe are pleased to announce we are working in partnership to identify and nurture future changemakers.

Our first project will be identifying Changemaker Schools from around the world, to nominate students and teachers to participate in the Global Social Leaders Programme, an annual two-week residential leadership course organised by Future Foundations and the Wellington Leadership Institute, held at Wellington College in the UK.

Future Foundations are a strategic partner of Ashoka, and a fellow member of Generation Change, a collaboration of the leading youth social action organisations in the UK.

Ashoka envisions an Everyone A Changemaker: a world that responds quickly and effectively to social challenges, and where each individual has the freedom, confidence and societal support to address any social problem and drive change.

Global Social Leaders offers an exciting way to further develop the skills and capability of students and teachers who have shown the potential to be Changemakers within their school and community.

We are excited to work with Ashoka, because they share our mission and belief that if we identify and nurture young people and teachers we can develop social leaders, who will create positive change in the world. We are looking forward to welcoming their students and teachers, and exploring how we can further work together to create positive change

Jon Harper, Future Foundations CEO

Ashoka is delighted to be partnering with the Future Foundations on its Global Social Leaders Programme. The GSLP offers a great opportunity for teachers to grow as change-leaders within their schools and communities - and for young people to develop as leaders and ambassadors. Both of these objectives are critical to building a future in which every young person is empowered to live for the common good

Ross Hall, Director of Education Strategy at Ashoka
