The 150 day countdown begins to the 20th anniversary of Future Foundations!

BIG NEWS – We’re officially starting the 150-day countdown to the 20th anniversary of Future Foundations!

On December 20th 2004, Jack Butler registered Future Foundations and our journey began, Jonathan Harper FRSA joined as a co-director in October 2007 and Pete Cuff FRSA joined as our first general manager 15 years ago (today!).

We will share more of our story and the incredible people who have joined us over the coming 150 days.

We will revisit and share the impact of our legacy programmes.

We want to hear from our alumni, network, clients and partners!

We will invite you to share with us how Future Foundations has impacted your journey.

We also want your feedback and ideas for our future and what you think is the greatest need.

As we look ahead to the next ten to twenty years, your insights and suggestions will be invaluable in shaping our strategy and vision.

Your contributions will be the foundation of a special series that celebrates the extraordinary people and partners who have enabled our impact and change.

Together, we’ve equipped over 100,000 young people in 100+ countries to be leaders in their lives and society, equipping them to thrive.

We are taking this opportunity of our 20th year to take stock, and will be sharing plans for how we want to scale our impact from 2025 to 2030 and beyond!

We have big plans for scaling our flagship hashtag#socialaction programmes Global Social Leaders & CanTeam – so watch this space for updates!

Last year, we launched our approach to AI within our Global Social Leaders programme and have seen 31% of our teams using AI in their social action projects.

We launched CanTeam in response to food insecurity and our belief that schools can and should be supported (and funded) to become community hubs, we were proud to be announced in January as a winner of the Big Change Big Education Challenge and to have the support to pilot at scale.

We are exploring how we adapt to the many challenges young people and society faces and the impact hashtag#ai will have on the future of education and work. We want to create can-do solutions.
