In November 2015 The Diana Award launched their INSPIRE Series. They travelled across the UK to meet, celebrate and empower courageous young citizens in Diana, Princess of Wales’ name.

The day sees young heroes receive their Diana Award in an official ceremony and also introduces Award holders, teachers and other young people to specialised training in campaigning and community action through our Network Programme. Taking a cue from the name itself, participants are inspired by their peers receiving their award and Award Holders and participants alike are inspired and equipped to tackle social issues, make a positive change and contribute to a brighter future for themselves and others.

We are extremely proud to be a part of these events and in 2015, Future Foundations travelled with the Diana Award to Manchester, Newcastle, Glasgow and Belfast meeting incredible young people and empowering them to continue making positive changes. So far, in 2016 the Inspire Days have taken place in Birmingham and Essex.

Our Head Coach, Lina, has led two workshops on each of the Inspire days, you can see below which events have taken place so far.
