Future Foundations is excited to welcome Lina on board as our Head Coach for 2015. Her role will be to oversee all our coaches across every programme, to identify and develop new coaches, and nurture our existing coaches.
Lina Akbar has been a big part of the Future Foundations team over the last three years. She has worked with us as a coach, supported the development of our programmes, stepped up to be a Course Director and in 2014 led two of our most prestigious programmes – our Global Social Leaders programme and Westminster Summer School.
She is passionate about using training and coaching to help, inspire and motivate young people to make a change in their lives so that they can live their dreams!
Lina has been working as a Life & Youth Coach for over seven years. Her aim is to empower and inspire people to live a life of confidence, to enable them to stretch out and reach their dreams. Her passion is to support people achieve life goals through creating positive steps, which leads to success.
Lina has been intrigued by people dynamics since leaving university and attaining her law degree. Having attained her Masters in Human Relations at Birkbeck College, she worked as a diversity and inclusion consultant within education and has ever since been involved with personal growth spanning over eighteen years. She has been fortunate to be trained by Richard Bandler as an NLP Practitioner, attended Tony Robbins UPW in New Jersey, (she has walked barefoot on hot coals!) and is a Super Coach with the renowned Judy May Murphy. Her love for coaching is evident when she speaks at events and at her coaching workshops.
