Matilda joined Future Foundations in July 2022.
Matilda has a wide range of experience working across the youth, education and charity sectors. She has been instrumental in designing and developing creative engagement programmes with formal and non-formal education contexts, and bringing these to scale across the UK.
Matilda believes passionately in the power of youth voice and in the great potential of the next generation of thinkers. Providing opportunities for young people to develop their voices and offering platforms for them to confidently express their opinions and be agents of change is at the heart of her work – from setting up a new theatre in education company focused on improving wellbeing, to delivering national programmes using the arts and creativity to empower school students, and her voluntary role as a school governor with Mission Grove Primary School in Walthamstow. She is delighted to now be putting this into practice as Head of Programme for the wonderful Dirt is Good project.
