Daisy joined Future Foundations in February 2022 after 2 years of trying to find the right fit! Daisy knows that FF is an organisation that is passionate and principled in its values – something that deeply aligns with her own beliefs and values.
As the School Engagement Manager for the Dirt is Good programme, Daisy is excited to grow the reach and engagement of schools across the UK, to continue to inspire and empower youth voices and contribute towards creating the next generation of changemakers for life.
Previous to joining FF, Daisy completed a BSC. (Hons.) in Psychology at the University of Bedfordshire before working as a teacher for SEND students. Daisy also undertook the role of ‘National Lead for Youth Engagement’ for a national housing support charity – focusing on involving young people at risk of or experiencing homelessness to become involved in service formation and business decision making. Most recently, Daisy worked as part of the National Citizen Service programme delivering the initiative to young people across the West Midlands, East Anglia and South East.
Outside of work, Daisy is an avid rugby player and supporter as well as a competitive powerlifter (placing 3rd in her category at the English championships!). When Daisy is not involved in rugby or powerlifting, she enjoys sending quality time with her family and exploring the world (when it opens up again!)
