Future Foundations announces new roles for an exciting five weeks of Summer Schools

Supporting young people with the transition into secondary school, and back to school post Covid

We are delighted to announce that we have 5 weeks of summer schools coming up and we’re on the look out for the best leaders to join us and help to deliver the summer of a life time. In a tough year for schools, many are now using Government funding they received to provide a week long programme for their students, and we want you to join us in making this a reality.

Partnership Schools & Programme Dates

  • Dormers Well High School, Ealing: 19th – 23rd July , 26th – 30th July 
  • Connaught School, Leytonstone: 9th August – 13th August 
  • Townley Grammar School, Bexley Heath: 16th – 20th August 2 programmes on site simultaneously
  • City of London Academy – Highbury Grove: 23rd August – 27th August 

Programme Detail

Create Your Future programme 5-day summer programme

  • Improve progress in general skills
  • Encourage teamwork and making connections
  • Ensure a fun experience, and increase their confidence 
  • Develop and build their aspirations
  • Develop personal leadership skills to flourish at secondary school. 
  • Encourage them to take control of their future and succeed in life and at school
  • Enhance the challenging transition into secondary school for new Y7 pupils, and also for those Year 7 who have faced a tough year during Covid that have not allowed them to connect and settle into secondary school life

Global Social Leaders Catalyst –  1 week at Townley Grammar ONLY 

  • Improve progress in general skills
  • Encourage teamwork and making connections
  • Develop leadership skills
  • Increase their confidence
  • Develop and build their aspirations
  • Develop personal leadership skills to flourish at secondary school.
  • Develop understanding of global issues
  • Encourage them to take control of their future and succeed in life and at school
  • Encouraging them to become leaders in their life and society
  • Take on a real Independent Challenge they have designed

Who we are looking for…

We want to find staff who are passionate about supporting young people and who are committed to giving these young people a truly inspiring summer. You should have:

  • Experience of working with young people
  • A passion for and understanding of working with young people
  • The ability to work exceptionally within a team
  • The drive and motivation for making this programme the best it can be for the young people
  • The ability to learn and deliver a wide range of content
  • A sense of fun and collaboration
  • Availability for at least a week over the summer (we are open to you applying for as many weeks as you want)

Roles available and how to apply…

  • Course Director (1 or 2 roles)
  • Operations Director (1 or 2 roles)
  • Coach (a number of roles)
