Maths Coach

Job Description

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for inspirational Maths Coaches to lead sessions at the camps and motivate the students with their infectious passion for mathematics.

Each coach will supervise and run sessions for a group of 8-10 students attending the Maths Camp.

All the resources will be provided, although you will be expected to complete some prep work beforehand.

The role of the coach involves discussing mathematical concepts precisely and coherently, using questioning to elicit ideas from the students without directly telling them, and running sessions in a manner that encourages your group to interact and collaborate. In short, we want you to foster a stimulating mathematical environment. If you have ever led a Maths Circle with Axiom Maths, the vibe will be familiar.

Pastoral House Parents

Job Description

ROLE OVERVIEW

Pastoral House Parents are key to creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment at our residential Maths Camps.

You will oversee the day-to-day wellbeing of a house of students, be on call overnight for any welfare concerns and help ensure high standards of safeguarding and care throughout the camp.

By supporting the wider team, you will enable others to focus on delivering the academic programme and play a vital role in the overall experience.

This is a residential role, and you will be a trusted presence for students from arrival to departure.

Operations Director

Job Description

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Operations Director to lead the delivery of our 2025 residential Maths Camps. This is a senior onsite role, responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the programme across all three camps and two host venues.

You will co-lead the camps alongside the Course Director, manage the on-site operations and pastoral teams, liaise with venue and catering staff, and act as the on-site Designated Safeguarding Officer (DSO). Your leadership will help create a safe, welcoming, and inspiring residential experience for young people from across the country.
