Bright Futures is a 5-day personal development Summer programme designed to develop confidence, an understanding of sustainability and the skills needed to be successful in education and life.

When? 

Monday 19 to Friday 23 August. 

Students are expected to attend all five days.  The day will start with breakfast at 8.30am and finish at 3.30pm – except on Thursday 22nd August, when the day will begin at 8am and end at 4pm (Wellington College visit day).

Where?

City of London Academy Highbury Grove, 8 Highbury Grove, London N5 2EQ – plus one day off-site visiting Wellington College (coach travel to and from Highbury Grove will be provided).

Year Group?

Students can register for this programme who are:

  • Current Year 8 going into Year 9
  • Current Year 9 going in to Year 10

How much will it cost? The Summer Programme is fully funded (including breakfast, lunch and all activities/tuition).  It is free of charge for all students attending on all five days.  There will be a charge of £40 if you sign up to the programme but your child does not attend on all five days, which we will collect through our online payment system, School Gateway, in the first half term.

I found it extremely motivating, it's been an amazing experience for me - one that I will cherish.
