Future Foundations is excited to announce we have become a supporting member of The Council of British International Schools (COBIS).
COBIS is a global membership association representing more than 400 member organisations consisting of more than 240 high quality British International Schools and over 160 commercial organisations. COBIS Members can be found in 70 countries worldwide. COBIS exists to represent and support its member schools – their leaders, governors, staff and students and the delivery and export of quality British education.
In 2013, Future Foundations launched with the Wellington Leadership Institute our first global leadership programme. This is now heading into its fourth year and we are excited about working more closely with COBIS schools to develop their student leaders from around the world and either welcome their students to the UK or deliver programmes in partnership with them in their schools.
Colin Bell, Chief Executive of COBIS attended our Global Social Leaders programme at Wellington College and has subsequently invited Future Foundations to join COBIS.
To launch our partnership with COBIS, Future Foundations delivered training at the COBIS/King’s Group Student Leadership Weekend 2015, in Madrid. Our training received very positive feedback from all involved, further details of this event will be published shortly.
