Who we are?
Future Foundations (FF) is a training organisation focused on the personal, academic and leadership development of young people. We work primarily with the education sector, either directly with schools or in partnership with groups of schools from a particular area. We work with a wide range of young people, typically from ages 11 to 21. We work closely with leading schools, academies, Independent Schools and youth organizations in order to deliver high quality training programmes.

SkillForce is an education charity working with 10,000 young people throughout 150 schools in the UK who are in danger of leaving school without the skills and qualifications they need to succeed in life. Skillforce will support the delivery of week 1. In the last ten years SkillForce has helped over 35,000 young people achieve qualifications and positive outcomes with consistently outstanding results. Their Instructors are mainly ex-Services personnel. Having served their country, they are now serving their local communities by making a real difference to the lives of young people. With their diverse life experiences, Skillforce Instructors are positive role models, something often lacking in young people’s lives. This makes SkillForce distinct from other youth charities.

SIFE UK is part of is an international non-profit organisation (SIFE) that works with leaders in business and higher education to mobilize university students to make a difference in their communities while developing the skills to become socially responsible business leaders. SIFE UK students will help FF to recruit young people onto the NCS programme by presenting at school assemblies, parents evenings and community groups. Selected SIFE Students will become mentors during the Summer programme; inspiring the participants through the work that the SIFE students are already doing in communities both in the UK and overseas. SIFE Teams will mentor the alumni of the FF NCS programme in their area through the process of setting up sustainable social enterprises and help them access other career and volunteering opportunities. |
