Important Information

Registering for a place on the FF NCS programme 2012 – How it works:

There are limited a number of places available for the programme for each school/organisation that Future Foundations works with. To avoid disappointment, apply now!

Once you have applied you will receive a notification email that we have received your application for a place on the programme. The FF team will review applications during the participant recruitment phase. We will then email you to confirm whether you have been successful in applying for a place on the programme.
If you are not initially allocated a place on the programme, we will invite you to be on the waiting list for the programme. More information about waiting lists can be found below.

Once you have successfully applied for the programme, you will have to complete the registration process before you are accepted onto the programme. The registration process  steps are:

• Parent/Guardian Consent – we will email your parent/guardian to ask for consent so that you can attend the programme
• Payment – you will then be asked to make the £50 payment for your place on the NCS programme 2012. To find out more about payment, click here .
• Medical Details – we will then ask your parent/guardian to complete a medical details form so that we are aware of anything important to ensure your safety throughout the programme.   

Once you have completed all of these registration steps we will confirm your place on the Future Foundations National Citizen Service Programme 2012!

Waiting List – How it works:

We cannot promise that places on the NCS programme will become available to those on the waiting list. However, situations can arise that mean places do become available last minute for people to join the programme.

By accepting a place on the waiting list, you will complete the whole registration process, including payment. Therefore, if a place becomes available up until the day of the programme itself, you are ready and able to take the offer of a place on the FF NCS programme 2012. If you accept a place on the waiting list you must be able to come on to the programme if a place becomes available. 

However, if you are on the waiting list but a place does not become available, we will fully reimburse your payment for the programme and give you a £10 high street voucher as a thank you.

Cost

The Future Foundations NCS programme is a once in a life time opportunity. NCS is a flagship government initiative which is heavily subsidised. Therefore we only charge £50 per person, although the value of places is much greater.

The £50 contributes to your/your child’s costs throughout the duration of the programme – food, accommodation, staffing and activities.

Payment

We accept payment by the following methods: We accept payment by the following methods: PayPal [preferred], electronic bank transfer, or by personal cheque. Once you/your child has successful registered for a place you will be prompted to for payment during the registration process. See above for information on the registration process.

Cancellation Policy

The Future Foundations NCS Programme 2012 is a highly valuable experience for all young people involved. If you/your child is offered a place on the programme, you/your child must attend for the duration of the programme as a condition of accepting the offer.

Cancellation Conditions

• Cancellation of a place more than 2 weeks prior to the start date of the programme will incur no charge, and the £50 payment will be reimbursed.
• Cancellation within 2 weeks of the start date of the programme will result in the loss of the £50 payment.

Exceptions:

Exceptions may be granted in exceptional or medical circumstances, but only after discussion with a member of the FF NCS Team. Proof of exceptional circumstances may be required to ensure refund of payment.
