Ensuring Safety: Policies and Procedures
Future Foundations are leaders in providing safe and fun learning experiences.
For all our programmes we have a market leading Code of Practice (COP) outlining how we ensure risk is assessed and managed. We risk assess all FF activities and monitor partners’ procedures too so that everyone involved in a programme is clear about ensuring safety throughout.
Our policies, procedures, risk management, training and child protection are overseen and checked by our external technical advisor, Simon Barter who has over 15 years of experience managing and operating residential programmes for young people.
The Future Foundations Code of Practice (COP) covers the following:
|
1. Introduction to Future Foundations |
7. Equal Opportunities |
| 2. Definition of Responsibilities of visiting groups | 8. Emergency Procedures |
| 3. Health & Safety | 9. Fire Procedures |
| 4. Risk Assessment | 10. Procedure for a Young Person who is Missing |
| 5. Child Protection | 11. Disclosure Policy |
| 6. HR Policy | |
| Appendix 1. Incident and Accident Log Template | Appendix 2. Minor Incident Log |
