Sixth Form Induction

A one-day or multi-day residential programme providing a fun and lively launch to Sixth Form which inspires students to reach their potential and supports the development of a positive ethos of trust and respect. 

Programme Aims:

• Help students to make a smooth transition into Sixth Form
• Explore what is expected of them (i.e. student, parent and teacher expectations)
• Encourage students to take responsibility for their own independent learning and to go beyond what is being asked of them in class
• Can be tailored to include workshops designed to develop the following skills:
  • Time Management
  • Study Skills
  • Confidence
  • Leadership
• Challenge students to develop a vision for the year ahead and set tangible goals for academic and broader achievement

Who is it for?

• Year 12 or 13 students
• Lower Sixth and/or Upper Sixth
